SuperPi, 3Dmark06, ORTHOS...???

Thread Starter
I often see people with "scores" for all those types of products...
On the system page, it has:
3DMark01SE:
3DMark03:
3DMark05:
3DMark06:
SiSoft Sandra - cpu:
SiSoft Sandra - memory:
AquaMark3:
Super Pi:
PCMark04:

Do i just need to download these programs then run the tests?
And how do I do memory timigs? eg 8-8-8-15... or w/e.
Tnx!

timings would be adjusted in your bios. And yes, download all of those programs to find those scores. If you go to the Downloads section of this forum, you can do just that.

Those programs are benchmarking and testing programs to "score" a PC. Follow the links to download and then you can run the tests. We use those scores to more-or-less rate your system in comparison to other similar systems. You can see if you are pulling the same FPS as someone else with a similar set-up. Also - you can get an idea of what a particular upgrade (ie. GPU) might do for your system based on what it did for someone else.

As far as Timings. You should enter your BIOS, and there is most likely a section for memory timings. Mine is under the ADVANCE BIOS OPTIONS section.
