Kind of unreliable. The reasons:-

1: The new 177.26 Drivers have PhysX implementation, 175.16 Do Not. This is reported to inflate scores quite a lot (especially in Vantage).

2: They also can't get the GTX's memory right. It looks like a spreadsheet anyone could knock up.

3: Why do a comparison with a GTX 280 vs a 9800GTX? Why no 9800GX2? They are comparing it to an obviously weaker card to make it look better than it is.

4: Tests should be performed on a level playing field, the systems are the same but the drivers are not.

I don't see anything wrong with comparing the GTX 280 with a 9800GTX, since its a G92 based card that a large portion of OCN has (8800GT, 8800GTS, 9800GTX).

But it's supposed to be a Flagship product, surely a fair comparison would be against the current Flagship.

Yes, it beats the GX2 in everything but STALKER and UT3. And that's on BETA drivers!

well its performance really doesnt justify its price tag. Im thinking that the 4870 might actually be close to this card as its meant to be 30% better than the 9800gtx. From looking at these results the 9800gtx isnt that far behind the GTX280.

So yeah im quite dissapointed. im guessing it will be a bit better with proper drivers.

I don't think it's over priced at all, plus with the new 177.34 drivers it's reported to get an even greater 50% boost in performance. The measley 500 dollars it'll cost will be worth it.

$500? Where in the world did you see a price of $500? It is going to cost $650+. Not worth that in my opinion.
