Computer problemes

Thread Starter 
I turn on my computer and the moniter says vga input: no input signal

now i took apart y computer and rebuilt it and its still doing the same thing \\
i cleared the Cmos
tryed removing parts to get it to beep but no beep
checked for screws under the mobo
the moniter works tryed it with another computer

All the hardware is running 100% but i get no post boot

any other suggestions?

Try another VGA cable, try another monitor. If you've already reseated the vid card that's most likely not the issue. Not getting post beep codes from the mobo with parts removed is a very bad sign, but i wouldn't write off the mobo without checking another monitor first.

Also, you said you tore the PC down, have you checked to make sure the mobo isn't grounding out anywhere? You could've droped a loose screw behind the mobo, accidently bent a bracket, forgot a riser, or any number of things.

So do you here it beep??

If you computer doesnt usually beep on start up take all the ram out so that it will

then if you can here it beep it is a problem w. your video output/input/or cable i would try antoer monitor

Have you got a working spare GPU you could try in your comp ... or try the GPU in another one.

if you have a case speaker and you hear no beep, your motherboard is dead

try re-seating your CPU, thats all i can think of
