Personally I would go to a friends house and try out the gpu on there computer if possible.. Its sounding like gpu and then if its not that then your mobo..
Sounds very much like the 'CPU INIT' error I got with my last ASUS Striker II Mobo.

Do you have a poster connected to your mobo? With my experience, which is admitedly very little , sounds like your mobo has died.

I tried the whole lithium battery out 24 hour + wait time for the CMOS to reset on mine but that didn't work, so I RMA'd it.

if you have a LCD poster, that would help in determining the problem.

Well I had this same problem, well symptoms and it was a bad cable from monitor to gpu. I see you already tried another computer hooked to you monitor though. My question is, have you tried hooking it to another pc since the problem has started or was it before? So you have ANY way of trying a diff gpu by chance because it sounds to me like either the card or the adobe updates are the problem. You may be able to take the gpu to a local computer shop, a small personally owned not a franchise, and see if there is any way they can look at your gpu and test it real fast. I know here there are a few small businesses that will check stuff like that for free if ya ask em nicely and they aren't too busy.Either way best of luck to you and I hope everything works out.
