For those who went from Raptor to Velociraptor

Thread Starter
1) Would you say the performance increase is significant/noticable?
2) Would you say the Velociraptor is worth the $300 price tag?

thanks in advance!

I'll try and give you an answer soon, though it will be hard to compare, I had a single 74GB Raptor, but that computer got stolen so I'm getting a RAID-0 of Velo's... But I'll let you know if you don't get an answer by then.

Well, I have the Velociraptor now, but I'm coming from an ordinary 7200k PATA drive, so it seems really amazing to me. Little to no loading times on games, Windows Vista is FAST. I'm in love with it.
