Thread Starter
I already have water cooling and I have something to make my block fit on a 775. and I want what will be the best for now (without the QXxxxs) and last me the longest. and when does the new intel cpu series (Nepalm, or whatever its called), LGA chipsets, and the new intel board (P48 I think?) come out? I hate it when I buy a new PC part and a brand new cheaper and better thing comes out the week after

also, I have herd that the low multiplyer makes the Q9450 worse than the Q6600

Personally I would wait for Nepalm. I don't know how it will perform other than burning your room down BUT, sounds freaking cool

Grab a 9450, a higher dollar Intel board $200+ OR a P5E higher dollar board and the chip will get up there. In a year or so, grab the Nehalm chip.
