OCing e4500 and Ram..dividers - Page 2

Ok..I have been trying for hours on getting 3.4ghz, but I have failed. I can get some combinations to boot up, but they eventually lead to BSOD. I now have it at 3.30ghz with 9 x multiplier, and everything seems to be running fine. The voltage is at 1.4935, with 31 idle temps. I also overclocked the ram to 452.5mhz with a 4-4-4-12 timing at 4:5. I think I'm going to OC my video card a little more, and pump as much performance as I can out of this system..Thanks for all the help guys!

Update...So I think have a pretty stable system, I'll be keeping it here for awhile

CPU: e4500 @ 3.240Ghz 360x9 Idle: 32-33 Load:45-48
RAM: G.Skill 2xDDR2-800 450Mhz 4:5 4-4-4-12
GPU: XFX 8800gt @ 724/1651/1003

Did a 3dmark06 test and got a score of 12251..Pretty good with an e4500!

At 3.4Ghz you are on the border line for safe vcore, make sure you don't go above 1.50v and the 73c thermal spec. http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLA95

How much vcore does it want for 3.24Ghz?

at 3.24 it needed 1.4935..My temps were still good last night.. But I booted this morning and nothing boots up, so i'm gonna go back to 2.2 for a little bit.
