to keep you away from trouble and save your hardware from frying, get some basic knowledge...OC is easy, especially these days, everyone agrees...But it isn`t just that simple as 2+2...
USEfull stuff here: http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...l-threads.html
hope this helped...

Aswell check this link out for Intel CPUs Essential Threads
http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...l-threads.html

With what you have there, you can hit 3.4-3.6 no problem

First thing you need to know about OC is to take baby steps. I'll tell you the first step. From the guides, you probably aware that you'll need to download prime95(or 64bit OS version) and memtest to test for stability of your overclock. Also, CPU-Z, HW Monitor, and Coretemps are useful.

So this is it: try to adjust the multiplier and fbs to get .2+GHz from your stock clock speed and voltage. Then test prime and memtest for stability each 8 hrs ish. Keep repeating this procedure until you found the max cpu clock speed from stock voltage.

After playing around from stock settings, you'll get a grasp of estimate OC under your current system setting. In other words, you'll know the capability or potentiality of your system.
