Overclocks not showing on CPU-Z

Thread Starter
When i overclock my cpu in bios, my increments never show up on CPU-Z. For instance, when i set my Core multiplier to 7, CPU-Z says it at 6. And when i increase my FSB, it ghz stays at 1.6..

Am i missing something?

When i check my bios again, it does save all the changes i make..

First time overclocking, pardon my noobyness.

Did you turn off SpeedStep/EST in BIOS?

Are you stressing the CPU in that pic, like running Prime95 or Orthos?

Ah, i see. Underload, the multiplier jumps to 7, and mhz to 1.86.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Is your power management config set to throttle the processor down during periods of idle. Check your control panel's power management settings. Change all the minimum's to 100 so that it won't throttle your processor.
