Beware when using paypal

just to clear things up.
I did call them through CS
But due to some reason, all I got was the response from answer machine.

After I told the machine my infomation, the answer machine just told me my account was limited and an e-mail had been sent to me to restore my account. No real person conversation at all.

But the mail just lead me into endless loop to Paypal website with no restore method. And just to be clear, one of the picture I showed stated that there is no restore method for violation of Mature Audience.

And they won't let me remove my infromation without the warant of court.

I wished I could talk to a real person but none of them appear to be a real person.

I guess they don't hire cheap ppl for their CS now...

=6/15==============
Last year I purchased a XFX 8800GTS 320MB on ebay.

After few month, I received a mail talking about limited my account.
Here is the 2nd mail Paypal sent me.

After I logged on paypal, no links for me to follow in order to restore my account. I was confused with paypal but didn't contact them right away because I went out of town the follow months.

I thought this case would be over when I came back. However, just when I tried to buy things on ebay, I realized my account was still closed 6 months after my account got closed by paypal.

Then I finally contacted them to know what happened about my account. The mail did not explain anything. So I asked them kindly about what happened to my account and I wished to restore it.
This is what I got

Ya, nothing explained. I searched on Paypal search function. No good. I had to search on google about "Mature Audiences policy" to get a link into Paypal. ( Hm.. good job paypal...) After read on about this policy and relate this to my transaction on XFX 8800GTS 320MB. I wondered if they made some mistakes.

Transaction (40098090XL921471H)

Maybe they read "XFX" as in "XXX"?

So then I shot Paypal another e-mail explained that transaction was not in violation of any Paypal policy.

And.. This was their response

Simply put, they denied any mistake and told me to live with it.

So... people.. watch out...
Paypal can close your account any day they want with no reasons. Since I didn't have any funds in it, I did not lose anything except my bank and credit card info. Now they won't even let me delete them.

I think there are people like me who got closed their accounts with no reasons by paypal. Just to let you guys know.

Yeah they tried that crap with me once but it didn't work out too well. At my bank, I've got it set up to block all EFT and Checks that have the word "Paypal" on it. I only pay through paypal using my debit card which they can't use to get any of my money without my authorization unless they wanna get sued and have some criminal charges filed. They got another person with the same crap they got you with as well.

If you want your information removed from their system, call them and tell them you want your information removed from their system completely.

Why didn't you get them on the phone and find out what was going on?
I reported this a LONG time ago. This is actually not a new trick but unfortunately there are enough people who fall for it. Thus it circulates still.

Lucky you. Everytime I've dealt with them they've been some royal pains. I hate them with a passion but everyone accepts it on eBay so what can I do.

Ignore that. I thought this was something else. Ignore my previous statement.

However after looking again this is absurd...It looks like they just cant admit when they are wrong.
