draining

Thread Starter
OK well i decided to drain my system change out the water....i took off the line connecting my pump outlet to my radiator inlet since my rad is the lowest piece in my system...now i can definitely still see fluid in my rad but everything else seems to be drained...does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to get it out of the radiator?

Hi. :

Are you able to turn the radiator upside-down? Maybe case and all?

the radiator will have to sit for a little while to ensure full drainage.

Although it is a hassle, it might be wise to remove the radiator and all the liquid cooling components so that they can get a complete rinse.

i just recently rinsed all the components but is it wise to rinse with every change of water? i had fresh water in then something compelled me to take it apart and re tube the system so i rinsed everything at that point and now im filling up with fresh fluid again.

Every 6 months should suffice for a healthy loop (no growth).

i'll go with 6 months
GTT, don't forget that it's not an automated failure device that's in the box, it could crash after 1-2 year or even more. Not to mention never
