4Pins To 8Pins For Motherboard

Hi all

I got Coolermaster 650watt,my problem is my moherboard got 8Pins but my Psu only got 4Pins.cAN I convert this 4Pins to 8Pins.

You don't need to. The 4 pin will fit where it needs to go.

Sure you can convert it to 8pin. But 99% of the time the 4pin will work on a 8pin mobo.

20-pin will work... but 24-pin is recommended.


Your PSU should already have these proper connections as 24-pin primary has been standard for over 3 years now.
