Around 2 years atm, im not a particully hardcore gamer or anything plus i have my 360 if i need to play the new games.

Use Laptop for CAD work, which is prob the most stressful thing this thing will have to do. Oh and play C&C 3 while watching HD movies.

IMO every 2 years is fine, maybe GPU should be 18months but around that time frame is good to get more money and not feel to bad about spending a lot of cash.

I just recently bought another E2180, hoping for a better clocker than my last one that i bought 8 months ago. I am saving up for a quad now, so i would say about every 8months to a year.

Well, used to be about every 12-18 months but here lately it has been more like every 3-6 months.

And as long as they keep popping out the goodness they are I guess I will continue on the every 6 month course.
