How the hell do I install a intel heatsink (picture posted)

Seriously this **** keeps on popping back out, I thought the clip system from AMD was trash but this is 1000 times worse, what a frustrating thing this is.

If I can put this on, I'm taking it back and getting AMD again, **** power, I need something that won't pull my hair out.

First, I imagine this is push pins?

The pins will have an arrow on them pointing in one direction. Make sure to twist it the opposite was as the arrows show the direction in which to twist for removal. Once they are twisted opposite to the arrow, pull them UP into the fully extended position.

Then, when pushing them into the motherboard, do it in a cross pattern.

You have to pull the fan clips out before inserting them into the mobo holes ... so that the black winglets can attach to the rear of the mobo once you push the clip thingy in ...

Before pushing in, make sure all pins are pulled up all the way (so you can't pull them up any more), and turned to their limit clockwise (so you can't turn them any further in that direction). Before you start pushing down, make sure the tip of each pin is seated in the appropriate motherboard hole. Try pushing in two diagonally opposed pins, simultaneously if you can, and then the other two. Good luck.

edit: Listen for the click. You should hear a click for each pin.

Are you pushing the pins all the way through so they can catch and hold on the mb. Don't be shy, push those pins down. Make sure you have them turned the right way so they lock when you push them down and you should be good. And you didn't break the little center pin did you on any off them, if you did then they won't lock anymore. Ah heck, it's so simple in my mind I can't even explain it right though.

Well, I hope you get it man.

One think I've learned that is, even though it says "Turn when the pins are in" I've found to be complete bs. My method now is, twist them, so when when you push the pins in it they all *pop*. Also, make sure one of the little flaps on the pins aren't bent out that could easily be the culprit. So once they are all *kinda* in the hole, look around make sure they're all in and...push.
