What is the biggest computer fan available

Thread Starter
Just exactly what the title says. The largest I've been able to find is this one or variations of it at different web sites
http://www.coolerguys.com/250mmfan.html

I was hoping for something bigger and with variable speeds. Id be willing to have up to 25 to 30 db if it meant pushing some good amount of air.

I tried searching overclock.net but all i get is threads where people call eachother fanboys.

I rememebr a little while back there was a thread of a case that had a fan that took up the whole side, they had a pic but i cant seem to find it. It was like a 4500mm x 4500mm fan that went wicked slow so it was silent. Im sure you could mod like a desk fan and install it into youre case (Ive been thinking about that) only problem is it would plug into an outlet... hell ill try it. wow i got off topic

The problem with large diameter fans is that they spin so slowly that they produce almost no pressure.

I'm sorry but wouldn't the pressure be related to the CFM's & the surface area it inhabits? I know there are 120mm fans that blow a lot more but at a lot higher Db than the 250mm fan I'm looking to add.

I have a Silenx 120x120x35 mm fan that's 'advertised' at 18db. Does anyone know what the actual Db of that fan is, because that one isn't bad on the ears at all and it's rated to 90 CFMs

I'm not looking for cases with 250mm, I'm just looking for individual fans. I'm going to cut out the hole, then fiberglass the side to look like it came that way.
