High fsb mobo

Thread Starter
My mobo is starting to not like higher fsbs. I used to be able to do 450 stable, but now I can't even do 400. So I'm looking for a new one. It must to be able to do high fsb (450+), and I want it to be able to oc quads well too. I don't need sli.

I was thinking a Gigabyte P35-DS3L or DS3R, but are there better ones? The cost needs to be around $100 or less.

How can you be sure its the mobo?

My e6600 lately seems to be a bit unstable on the same voltages it used to be stable on, and it seems I have to pump up the voltage a bit every so often.

I also wonder if it could be my RAM...

I would think the MB would be the most rugged piece of hardware, and be able to dish out the FSB at little to no cost as far as wear goes. Maybe I'm wrong...

well...bumping it to 1.4v at 2.8ghz helped. Hmm..maybe I should just get a new processor. 1.4 is really high for just 2.8ghz.

when you do find the culprit I might want to buy the part you swap if you're willing to sell..

I've redone the first post as now I think my current mob is not crapping out, but my processor is lol. However, I still want a new one because I will be getting a quad for my next processor, and this mobo doesn't do well with quads.

I had to get a DFI board for my Q9450 cause my Gigabyte P35-DS3L could not OC it and be stable at all
