Folding on the gt200 - Page 3

I would like to know if cuda/ the folding client can recognize and use sli/gx2 stuff. Maybe thats why no sli in the charts?

You can't Crossfire and fold as two so I'm wondering what is up with SLI.

That's the current state of things.

Muahahaha, i'm folding right now!!! On my 8800GTS 512MB that is...but the answer is NO, SLI is not supported on the leaked beta thus far. Holy crap would I ever push a lot of horsepower with two of these OC'd and folding!

Hmm

For some reason I can't install the latest Forceware drivers for my 8600M GT...which means I can't run the new GPU client.

I wonder if they overcome the CPU limitiation of GPU Clinets for CUDA based folding.

My HD3870 is less that 90% working with current WUs (CPU @ 3200 being 100% on one Core).

Also the graph shows a very luck WU for Q6600 and a bad on for HD3870.
I had 1500 - 2000 PPD on 4 Core SMP (@ 3000-3200 ) but 1900 - 2600 PPD on GPU....

Can you continue to run smp on the Q6600 and then a seperate folding on the GPU and then combine the total?

so say you get 2500ppd on the q6600
then also 3000ppd on the 8800gt ?

Wow what about all the people that bought loads of ps3 for a folding farm??

Kinda puts it in perspective, fold on what you have rather than design around it.
