Being outdated doesnt have to do anything with being cheaper or a better perfomer. Its a 65nm CPU its outdated.

I have my Q9450 for few day ago and i already overclock @ 3.4ghz with all setting in Auto just raise my FSB to 425 x 8 and thats it... i so glad with this cpu so far...

im @ 3.4 with Q9450 only had to raise the vcore to 1.25 with no other voltage changes
