My laptop has a duel core t7500 2.2ghz when i play games dose the game just use one core at 2.2ghz or both cores? if it uses both cores how dose it know how to use both cores? if it just uses one core why dose it use just one?
Just wanted to know.
any info would be great.

Open up your task manager while the application is running and right click on the process and choose "Set Affinity" and make sure both are checked in Vista. In XP, i'm not sure it might be the same and it might not be.

Most of the games released today are multithreaded or multi core optimised so if you play the game detects the two cores and uses both of them,,,but unless you are playing an old game it can only run on one core as it doesn't know how to use them...
