Gaming Rig 2 x 8800GTs SSC SLI and more - Page 2

I'd say in the $1,500 range.

Q6600 - $180
8800GT 's - $160 each (assuming they are under warranty)
Motherboard - $110
RAM - $40
Hard drives - $80 each (though probably more like $60 these days)

Just a rough outline of the major components. Just factor in the PSU, Case, and assorted items.

That's the thing, calculate that plus PSU and all, comes to about 1100 by my estimates, just more for the paint job and if you sell to someone who doesn't know about new prices much.

Most of the specs are just all hype... Other then the DDR3 is killer...

GT's are even cheaper now....I'd have to go with 1000+ paint job price

why so low on the motherboard?

I paid 250 for the motherboard alone only a month ago.

I'd say, 1500 should be a reasonable asking price. Just maybe pick up some more storage to entice buyers.

I payed 3000$ 4 months ago on my PC, and people estimate 1,300-1700. Thats with a Cosmos case, 1200W, and 780i, and two 500GB HDS along with 2 raptors, with all the mods (window, etc).
