Folding is working fine, other then the bugs that the Pande Group team has already mentioned about the viewer. I have completed 3 WU's in one day.
There is a huge difference! On 177.26 I was folding project 5002 at roughly 26 sec/frame. It worked out to about 43 minutes for a single WU. With 177.35 I'm cranking out project 5002 at 16 sec/frame, or ~26 minutes for a single WU. That's almost twice as many work units per day.

Edit: not to mention CPU usage during GPU folding has gone from ~25% on both cores to about 5% on a single core.

He is indeed telling the truth.

My previous driver, forget which one:

36-40 seconds/% - 1 hour and 10 minutes per work unit - 22 WU or so a day. 1700 -1900 PPD.

With the 177.35 driver:

18 seconds /% - 33 minutes per work unit - 43-45 WU or so a day - 4700 PPD.

Finally got these and while they did make F@H run better in terms of ns and PPD they also would crash my system HARD after a few hours...

I drivercleaned and everything I do prior to install and even tried a 2nd time but they still fail on my 8800 GTS with XP SP2.. I had to go back to earlier versions which are stable and still run F@H GPU..

Not sure why.. Maybe the modded XP 32bit ones were whack as it seems the Vista ones are running well for ppl..
