Ugh, just got a soundcard and think i made a mistake

Just picked up that card from woot for pretty cheap, but now I'm kind of concerned that I am not going to be able to go digital...

For some reason I thought it had a digital coaxial out, but upon further investigation, it has something called a flexi jack...

So basically, is there anyway to get this card to go digital out?

The Flexijack apparently incorporates the SPDIF port, these details are off the site you provided: "Supports SPDIF Out compressed ac3 signal or PCM for Stereo Digital Speaker."
That is through the Flexijack, the other ports on the card are used apparently for the Analogue 7.1 output (e.g. can be used with the 7.1 Cambridge Gigaworks speakers since they have analogue inputs) or with the Flexijack to connect to digital 2.1+ speakers.

What speakers do you have? Dont they already have a digital connector? (At least on my soundcard, motherboard, and speaker cable they all are the 3.5mm headphones plug)

I don't use computer speakers.

I go from soundcard --> receiver --> speakers (5.1) which are some onkyo's (so they connect to the receiver by speaker wire ^_^)

The flexi-jack is capable sending out a digital signal. This can be done through the creative audio software. So don't worry about it, you didn't make a mistake.

Presumably the adapter you found should work, as it accepts an rca and makes it into a phono plug, but i'd rather have some audiophiles confirm this
