Here one another one 9800GTX SSC vs the new stock GTX 280. You can see at a Res of 1920 x 1200 with 4a and 16 turn on what a differents in Crysis with only 1 GTX 280. It is all about high Res now with these cards, not to mention these are new drivers for it...

I was hitting 640/1587/2000 with stock cooling. I bought the Accelero Xtreme 8800 a few weeks ago and now I'm getting 675/1650/2200.

Like a said, it's an issue with the heat output of the G80.
