Mod a CM 690 or go for Antec 900?

Thread Starter
I was thinking of either buying a CM 690 and cutting out a fan window, painting it ("Full Stealth"), and adding a top 120mm fan or just buying an Antec Nine Hundred and painting the inside black (like the Full Stealth Black). I want the cheapest solution possible. What should I do?

Cheapest? Well if you already have the tools then the CM690 would be cheaper.

What tools would I need? My dad has a sander and a jigsaw, but what else would I need?

Not sure if your interested but they make a side window for the 690 30$+shipping: link

But cutting the window yourself would be cheaper and powertools are lots of fun.

That's all you'd need. Well, and a drill. If you want a nice round cut for the fan you'd need a hole saw, but if you wanna use a Radgrill or something then a jigsaw is fine.
