What tools would I need to cut and paint?

I have a drill, too. Might need a holesaw and a fan hole cover like this: http://www.crazypc.com/products/5434.html.

How do I cut a fan hole without a holesaw?

You don't cut a hole, you cut a square but leave the 4 corners in. Then you install a big grill on top that covers it.

Like this one.

The A900 now ships with cable mod holes already built in.

I just looked at the CM 690 again and I found that the top fan vent is pretty high up. How high will I have to cut?

Do I just cut up that high? What if I want to have a fan hole in my windows? What do I do?

I would get a Antec 900. if you screw up the CM 690 then you are done with it. Also what about CM 590... i like it better. Antec 900 had good cable management now.. better the first edition.

And by cable management, do you mean the two holes next to the hd cage?
