Having bad luck OCing my 8800GTS G92 - Page 2

Your cpu overclock could very easily have caused the blue screens and restarts, it may have an effect on the artifacts but shouldn't have. Make sure you lock your PCI-E frequency at 100.

The P35-T2RS is auto locked at 100 from what I see.

Don't use the auto setting, that allows it to increase as your mobo sees fit. You should manually set it to 100 so you know it isn't going anywhere.

Because, I've been artifact testing my GTS G92 at stock speeds with my BIOS settings almost completely stock (vDIMM is at 2.2v). It's been stable for the past two hours, which makes me suspect its my CPU Overclock.

It artifacted at stock speeds when I was OC'd to 3.2ghz, so...
And it just Black screened 2 hours later. When my computer black screens, it gives of a series of constant short beeps akin to the video card missing.

3.2 on the q6600 is also conservative. I can run my gts's at 3.85 at my usual oc specs (794/1115) and not get any artifacting.

Still need help, right now at completely stock speeds/settings for BIOS and VGA card (vDimm is at 2.2v), its randomly either Blue Screening and rebooting or black screening and then the speaker on my mobo makes multiple sequential beeps as if the video card is missing.

I'm guessing something on the case its short circuiting it, but twice? I've rebuilt this computer four times, this is giving me a headache.

What about power? Are you on a UPS? Or just a surge protector? I'd try out a nice UPS unit or other form of power cleanser (UPS will be the cheapest). Maybe you're getting dirty power to your rig perhaps?

It could also be your PSU failing...possibly because of dirty power. I actually have quite conservative clocks on my GTS as well...but that's because my PSU isn't powerful enough to clock it really well.
