Stability testing GPU

Using ATI tool is just whack

it beeps one for an artifact so I immediately drop clocks back to stock, and it keeps on artifacting

GPU load never exceeds 73 OCd, 70* on stock

Right now I am using Riva Tuner for the 8800 GTX, and the only thing im playing with is Core clocks till I can get a stable overclock on it.

Right now running 648mhz Core/stock rest has not artifacted for ~6 minutes and max temp is 70.2*C..... I I feel that ATI tool is not doing its job, what else is there

You're probably about maxed on the core, 648 is what my GTX would do.

3D Mark06 runs, Firefly Forest and Deepfreeze will out a bad oc pretty quickly.

I haven't used Furmark, nothing supports CF except 3d Mark so that's what I use now.

Screen is of my GTX, never adjusted the shaders because I got rid of it before you could.

You got your shaders to 1560+?? How? I set mine to 1440 and I get a crash

Also... do the Drivers work in Vista 64? what version you using?

After I pass an ATI artifact scan for at least 30 minutes, I run the Crysis benchmark on DX10 high settings a few times, artifacts are very easy to spot in farther away trees and bushes.

Good idea

Im still working on raising clocks with ATI tool running so im workin on it

So far ive got 648/1404/972

IDK why but I used to have the shader OCd to 1450... and it worked... i guess it wasnt stable tho
