Raise the FSB frequency, change the fsb/memory ratio to 1:1 (safest for beginners)
edit: nvm

what if i did the following

uped the FSB to 399,
change the multiplier to 8.5 (which should give me 3300 roughly),
adjust FSB/Memory ratio to 1:1 (which would give me 798)
change memory voltage to 2.1v
and up the vcore to about 1.26???? (dont know what would be best for this 1)

would this be ideal???? are there any other voltages that i should be changing? and if so then why, sorry but im new to overclocking

spread spectrum is an option to make the CPU produce less electronic noise. So if you have problems with your Cell or cordless phone you can turn that on, but it will limit your ability to overclock.

the BSoD was because it wasn't stable at 3.6 You should set your sights lower first. Try just raising the FSB 20 MHz each time till the system is unstable(use a torture test like prime95) and of corse make changes to you memory to keep it around the 800 mark. Once you get a BSoD up the v-core voltage a little and if it works go back to raising the FSB. Overclocking takes time and patients. When I get a new machine I'll spend several weeks overclocking it.

You may need to bump that vcore up just a bit to say 1.22vcore since I see you are at 1.144 according to cpuz. Also I run my nb at 1.3v on mine But I'm not running my E8400 in it so not 100% sure about that, but I do like my MSI for my 65nm chips.
