Xigmatek HDT-1283. Same cooler was recommended to me a week ago, and I am currently using one, extremely satisfied with its performance out of the box.

thanks to everyone for the help another quick question the motherborad I am using is a Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 is compatible with any of these cpu coolers without me having to remove the crazy cool pipe system from my motherboard ? becuse I would like to leave that on there unless there a way I can add some really cool aftermarket ones?

They won't block any of the aformentioned choices, but you can replace them with aftermarket chipset cooling! I say go with the IFX-14 if you can fit it, a TRUE if not, and to complete the Thermalright effect, HR-05 on NB, HR-05 SLI on SB, HR-09 on mosfets! Overkill FTW! (considering money is no obstacle of course, if not just a TRUE with a 38mm-thick fan over 1500rpm for the best performance, tied with the IFX-14 with slower fans.
