Hi.. im running 1gb corsair value ram right now, about to get 4gb 800mhz cas 4 OCZ ram.

Currently 1gb DDR2 @ 333mhz - Cas 5.

Upgrading to 4gb DDR2 @ 800mhz - Cas 4

How much does ram chew up in power? i have a 450w power box, and i feel right now its at its very very top, in power.. im even suprised it can handle what i have right now and still run.

its a cheap 40$ old 450w power box that came with my case.. so im wondering if buying this ram might push the power load over.. i dont have the money to go buying a power supply either.

Power supply is 450w, i feel like im using around 445 of that now.

So my question is, does memory use up much power? especially since im going from 1x 333mhz to 4x 800mhz
