Hello, I’m looking towards a motherboard with DDR3 memory. Most I see on Newegg got bad reviews and really expensive. I’m starting to realize it be smarter to wait for 6-8 months then upgrade. If you guys have any suggestions please feel free to give me suggestions.

Thanks

of course they are expensive, they just came out. waiting a few months is probably a good idea, because then the prices will come down, just as prices on tech equipment always come down over time. example: look at prices of ddr2 ram right now

An upgrade just for DDR3 at this point would be a colossal waste of money. Wait.

I agree you can get 2 GB of DDR2 ram for like 30 bucks. Back in the day I remember they were like 100 dollars a stick even more. I was just wondering it the DD3 would be make an extreme difference. I guess not, okay I’ll wait for the prices to drop

Thanks

This is probably the best one you could get for the cheapest in my opinion:

DFI is known for their amazing BIOS settings and overclocks. Let me know your price range, so I can help you more.
