IT IS NOT VIRTUALIZATION OF XP ON THE iPHONE!

It is a remote connection to a virtualized XP. This is a big difference.

Let it go duckie, the people who don't get it either A. don't read the thread before posting so corrections do no good, or B. they are too ignorant to understand the difference so corrections do no good.

Maybe the thread about the internet making people stupid is true, lol.

Citrix is able to provide remote virtualization of almost ANY application, not just an OS and whats installed on that OS, it could provide access to individual programs. I do tech support for a hospital and the way they use citrix is that anyone with the citrix web client (a very small peice of software, like 7mb IIRC) installed on thier pc can log into a web page and open any of the hospital apps (including office apps like outlook or hospital specific apps for patient charts and lab tests etc.) and run them like they were installed on thier pc, from ANY pc in the world as long as it has the citrix app installed (doesn't even run in the background all the time, the web page loads a file which is associated with the client and starts it up). Before some of the hospital apps became too hefty on ram usage they used to have what they called thin-clients, little flash based pc's with no harddrive or any software installed natively at all, they just had citrix in the firmware and ran everything off the citrix server farm. Starting to see the possibilities now???
