Reading Phenom Temps with HWMonitor

Thread Starter
I use HW Monitor to track my temps. The core temps are a no brainer. I've read that TMPIN0 is the overal CPU temp, and when I change the temp in BIOS that is the value that raised, and not the cores.

Question is, which is more important to look at, the cores, TMPIN0, or whichever is higher?

Edit - The cores show 10C higher than the TMPIN0.

thats funny my cores are showing about 8c cooler than the tmpin0 temp.
