Please rate build for gaming/applications

Thread Starter
I posted this request for an intel build a few months ago, but decided to save up a bit more money. I think this is a solid build, but i want to make sure that this system will play all the new games, overclock like crazy and do some small media applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, dreamweaver.... etc. Please let me know what you think. I am looking in the 400-500$ range and only need Motherboard, Ram, CPU and GPU. I also want to make sure there are no bottle necks in this build like the mother board might restrict the over clock.
thanks all!
Here is what I have:

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128059

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130319

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565

Definitely drop that old CPU and go with the E7200

Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115052
$129.99

ASUS EN8800GT/G/HTDP/512M GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121224
$129.99

I prefer DFI motherboards as typically they are better overclockers.

DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136038
$114.99

Oh, if you want to overclock (alot) then get the DFI motherboard. Gigabyte boards have a rather large Vdroop.

Good list. low strife and Penicilyn. At that price range, definitely give the E7200 a thought.

It would be worthy to upgrade it, but it should cope just fine.
