I too was going to go with the q93 until I really looked at the q66,it has a higher multi and can absorb more Vcore. To get the higher OC's of 3.6+ with the q93 you going to have to go 481 FSB or higher,I've seen some but most are modest OC's of 3.2 to 3.4. The q93 isn't a bad chip but, IMO I think the q66 or q67(x10 multi) is a better choice as of now.

Q6600. if you are willing to spend what a Q9300 costs, then get a Q6700 for the same price, or spend $60 more for a Q9450. the Q9300 only has 6mb cache and a 7.5x multi=worse than the Q6600. go for the Q6600, Q6700, or Q9450

The Q9300 is low on cache and overall just not the best chip ever. If you want a 45nm quad, get a Q9450; Otherwise, just do the Q6600/Q6700 (the newest Q6600s haven't been great overclockers, so i suggest the Q6700)

I would recommend a Q9550.
