Pin Mod a Celeron 2.7GHz

Thread Starter
Ok me and Y3K where really bored today. He recently got a little ASRock mobo pc that has almost generally no use. It has a Celeron 2.7GHz CPU in it (all info will be added tomorrow) and we overclocked it to about 3.2 GHz stable but its not good enough!

The mobo and CPU is just too junky to do anything constructive with that we have time for. So we want to pin mod it and volt mod it. The goal is 4.0 GHz stable or not, I'm looking for all tips tricks and guides to volt mods and pin mods on these CPU's I think this CPU is the Socket 478 version, as I said before all the CPU and mobo info will be added tomorrow so check back then.

Also, we overclocked the CPU higher and the mobo/BIOS took it no problem. Except when we where booting into windows it would either BSOD or just flat out hard reset. If we installed Linux anyone think it would boot and run?

you might need this mod for the voltage: http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...t-478-cpu.html
good luck on the 4Ghz!
