I have never played GTR2 but come on Maxishine, use some sense. Any driving enthusiast knows you can't floor a high-power car while cornering.... it just does not happen.
I don't think he was complaining about it, he was just saying how difficult it is for him, but I do agree that it was a horrid review, not just of GTR2, but the entire video.

For the first half of the video, I can't help but think whether he was reviewing his HDTV or the cars, but I was almost certain he wasn't reviewing the game itself. And I can't believe he assumed that the number on the corner marker means the gear number for the corner, on top of the lines he was taking and the apexes he was missing. At least Simbin was right about "GTR2 will separate race drivers from Sunday drivers".

No offense Maxishine, but you should review things that you have expertise in. You do a better job than 3DGameMan at reviewing hardwares, but frankly I do not find the same quality in this game review.

Excuse me for the rudeness but you really need to go buy a race car, i think the racing seat and massive TV is taking it a little too far. Come on mate its a game, if you want it that real then go get involved in motorsport...

well you can jump on a Drag racing track Without exp but they check your car making sure its safe,...

but on a Road course you must have EXP

I like his setup i wish i could afford that if i didn't plunge about 5k into my car once a month to upgrade it lol

Its very different in the US... Rarely can you take a stock daily driver vehicle onto the track or drag strip, they just don't make the safety requirements. You need things like Roll bar/ Roll cage, certain grade of fuel, certain strength of fuel tanks, they check everything and a normal car off a dealership will not pass.

5K for a racing sim setup, no life risk involved

You can spend anywhere from 30k to 500k on a race car or track car, you crash and can break your neck, not to mention you gotta pay for the gas you burn, every tire that pops, every wall that you hit, and there is no "reset"......... I like the idea that I can get close to the real thing, but not have to worry about the rest of the garbage... even tho my own car is turning into a track car lol
