In simulation rFactor PWNDs GTR2 and GT LEGENDS.

In just plain racing GT5, GTR2, GRID are good.

rFactor is the way to go guys... tons of tracks .. tons of mods.. infinite customizations available and the list goes on and on.

rFactor is a great sim with the huge amount of mods out there - you can basically think of a car you like and you can then download the mod and drive it ingame. Personal favourites are the Epsilon Euskadi LMP, MMG F1 2007, F1 1988, GP 79

GTR2 is very good fun aswell, especially doing a season or a race with daylight acceleration so it goes to night and then back to day.

GT Legends i used to play a bit, very good game if you have a G25 but is still pretty good with other wheels without a H pattern, does have starforce though - which is why i now don't play it. Same goes for GTR, which is pretty good, but GTR2 is a better game.

LFS i never really got into, its not a bad game, but it just doesn't do it for me. Not fully sure what it is, partially the graphics and sounds i think - the physics are very good, but i prefer something that is a bit more complete so to speak.

Race 07 - Currently racing in the biggest league in the world over at racedepartment.com - running in a team with Fury and this makes the game extremely good fun. Organising races, and running in a league is brilliant as racing with a grid full of other real opponents as opposed to AI is great fun. Being part of a racing club also means you don't have to play on public servers, which are either empty or someone decides that the best way to get past a car is to remove it from the track.

Arca Sim Racing is good, but i won't buy it for 2 reasons. Reason 1 is the price and the fact it has to come from the USA - i don't understand why it cant be like £15 on steam instead of £25 with a 2 week wait until it gets here. Reason 2 is the fact that its basically a very complete mod for rFactor - new menus and just stock cars, but its the same engine - with the same menu options and layout and the same ingame HUD. Probably a better choice if you are into stock cars, which im not really - i prefer the Indy Car mod for rFactor.

Also, please don't suggest that GRID, Gran Turismo, Forza or any games like that should be on the top race sims list, as they are not sim games. GT and Forza are closer than GRID is, but they are still way off the mark.

You managed to get in the league Fusion, hows it going? I was signed up to the league but I haven't had any free time lately due to work commitments.

Based on the video, GT Legends seemed to have better overall physics and graphics and a much more detailed interior view. The sound also seemed slightly more natural in GT Legends. Even still, it seems that when playing one of these games, the hardware you use is 70% of the experience. These games would be pretty dull if you tried to play them on a 19" screen, keyboard and stereo speakers.

Yeh, it does make a massive difference - main one being the wheel.

GTL does have very good car detail but that said, some rFactor mods look better. Its a good game, but i wish they would remove starforce and put it on steam or something.

Forza 2 is the best racing simulator, only on 360. Which also has the best and most realistic physics system running at 360 frames per second with the overall game running at 60fps

Heres the full setup with Forza 2 on tri-monitors:

Can you say hardcore community 3 times fast
Actress Kate Moss:

360 game Too Human:

*note, these were all done by hand using the livery editor, there is no photo upload in the game what so ever.

Indeed, people always believe what they are told by the game developers though.
