Is there anyway to use a HD2900pro bios on a hd2900gt

is there anyone that has a HD2900pro bios 256mb 256 bit?

Sapphire HD2900gt
duo E6550 2,33ghz
2Gig DDr 800

Pretty sure its impossible, 2900gt has 240sp's and 256mb of memory and the 2900 pro has 320 sp's and 512mb of memory.

Dunno but if it flashes to a pro then it would a XT too right? As they are the same thing. Not that it would handle the clocks though dunno lol.

I can't find anything but why don't you just try for yourself? It has the same cooler as the XT right? It should also clock as high according to some places but don't be fooled as it's limited shaders won't let it get close in performance.

A 2900GT is a bad XT chip that they downclock, isn't it? It can probably run at Pro speeds but it would put an extra burden on the card compared to a native Pro...

I think it runs the same speed as the pro.. 600/800?
