Need help with 9850 BE problem.

Thread Starter
Hey Guys, I need some serious help. I built a brand new PC from case in and I had overclocked my 9850 BE to 2.81GHz. It was running fine for about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden I started to get the blue screen saying something about the secondary processor and memory dump. I reset my settings back to stock but with a Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe board it runs at 2.51GHz with Auto settings. I play Age of Conan and thats the only reason I built this PC. I use it for nothing else. After I reset everything I get into game and about 20 to 30 minutes later I get the same error. I tried everthing I know to do, which aint much but I am turning to you guys for help. Please Help me, its an annoying thing to deal with.

By Hard reseting the bios to you mean, reseting the CMOS? like take the battery out of the mobo and change the jumper?

Thx I'll try that. But I was wondering. What does it mean by the Secondary Processor? I know the quad is a combination of 4. If what you are asking me to do does not fix the problem, does it mean that my processor is shot?

I don't think there should be any problem with that proc. I had the same BSOD problem while OCing my 9500 beyond 2.80 Ghz saying something about clock interrupt and secondery processor....... But after adding some voltage to NB and SB it disappeared. I think this problem is related to the SB. Hope that helps
