this is from http://www.bcchardware.com/index.php...1&limitstart=2

The performance results surprised me a bit, I was assuming for this cooler to be right in the middle of the pack performance-wise, and hopefully able to keep up with a cooler like the Tuniq Tower 120, but not only did it keep up with the Tuniq Tower, it beat it by a couple degrees in some tests. The Core-Contact Freezer ended up being one of our best performing air coolers we've tested to date, which is pretty impressive. I was very happy overall with the performance, and it was a nice surprise to see it perform so well. At high speeds this cooler is able to compete with the best of the coolers we've tested, but I think the biggest selling feature of this cooler is how well it performs at low speeds. Even when running at 1200 RPM this cooler was able to keep up with more coolers we've reviewed which is pretty impressive since at its low speeds this cooler is very quiet.

Def go for it, it is one of the best coolers out atm. Like you said, a few new coolers have come out, and the core contact is one of them, and it DOES beat the TRUE. Happy overclocking

Does it really beat the TRUE? I nee a real review link, not one in which the TRUE is beaten by the TRU, which is ridiculous.

Not to high-jack your post but,I was wondering the same.I was sent the wrong cooler a few days ago, expected the T120 black addition(got the plain ver instead),so I was looking around to see if I could find it cheaper and low and behold I ran across this review.Do you guys think this holds weight. I'll be ordering in a few so.

I'm starting to believe Frostytech accepts a little cash on the side, if you know what I mean... Oops! No thermal paste on the TRUE! Oops! Lapped that Contact Freezer! lol
