OC Q6600 with P5N32E-Sli

Thread Starter
Hi all, my first time here and fairly new to the overclocking thing. I have worked in the industry most of my career building PC's from the old 286 days so familiar with the terms etc.

My question is, what is the best settings for OC my Q6600 processor. My specs and temps are below using prime95

Intel Q6600 G0 currently at stock speed of 2.4Ghz
Cool Master Hyper 212 Heatsink and Fan on CPU
2Gb DDR2 800Mhz OCZ Heatsinked memory set at 5-5-5-15
Asus P5N32E-Sli Motherboard with the latest Bios installed
8500GT PCI-E not overclocked GC with Zalman VGA heatsink and fan copper
All Bios settings are at default

Prime95 details while running Vista 32 with Aero.

All four cores when idle using Speed stepping at 1600Mhz 35-38c, 2400Mhz 39-41c
All Four cores using fft on Prime95 Speed stepping at 2400Mhz maxed at 52 -54c with memory usage at 98%

Your help and thoughts are greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks

That board doesn't clock quads very well (from what I have read). I had that combo but I damaged the board before I really knew how to properly over clock.
