I've read that the 256MB and the 512MB version of the GT makes no differences in folding speed yet. But we've yet to know the results of bigger work units' performances.

After i posted, i went on newegg, and saw it was onle ~$10 which i can't say justifies the savings for double the memory. I also saw an Asus with one of those Glacier fans for $159 (512 MB)

^tempting price

Well so far everything is ok. And the q6600 is all at stock setting and voltages. Same with ram at 800mh (2gb). As you see the 8800gt is clocked at the settings in the link.

Sadly it is crazy hot here and I cant clock the card anymore. Almost 5k ppd which is pretty nice don't you thing?

Edit: same settings but now it reached 5K ppd. No idea why tho.

What sucks is FahMon don't seem to work with the ATI GPU2 client.

Let us know how the 4850PPD pans out.

Just 6 days for the Overtake
see screenie attached below, it is a pure let down as of right now until a better client comes out.

PS: should i be worried that the name says anonymous in FAHmon? when i goto config in the FAh client it shows my name and team. so why doesn't FAHmon show it?

i dont really know much about FAHmon, kind of my first time using it.

but at first FAHmon didn't work/register the client because i had the location set to the work folder.

it didn't work so i thought that was weird, then i tried changing it to the Folder where the .exe client was located (which in that folder contains the work folder) then it worked.

anyways, may be im just a n00b for not know where to point the location thingy, but that worked for me (or may be that's what you were suppose to do).
