I would not think they would make those up it would be pretty easy to measure... CFM is a measurement of how much air the fan can move... (Cubic Feet per Minute) Not anything directly related to cooling... If you move 100CFM of 100 degree hot air over a heat sink you might actuall heat up the cpu instead of cooling it off.

The cfm is only measured to the fan, if you have a 100cfm fan up next to a heat sink the fan most likely it will not move 100 cfm due to the add resistance of the heat sink...

But on the other Hand if you put fans in a push pull setup you may be able to move more than 100cfm due the fans removing resistance from each other... The push fan has less resistance on the exhaust side while the pull fan has less resistance on the intake side making them more effective...
