Hose clamps vs. zipties!!! - Page 2

hose clamps are reusable. unless you damage them.
hose clamps cause leaks if everything isn't properly sized from getting too tight and binding, but if you are doing everything properly, and it isn't a high pressure system, you can practically not use clamps lol. But of course do. Whichevery you think looks best.

Zip ties have been around for 50 years, about time folks started trusting their design adavantages.
Worm drive clamps were not designed for use on barbed fittings and therefore only offer a questionable seal at best.

Using worm drives cost me $1,200 of hardware, due to an overnight minimal weep at the WB inlet. Using zip ties,
I've yet to lose anything including sleep.

Dude don't use these.

I used them, and had them down TIGHT with pliers...really tight. Still managed to slip off and soaked my motherboard down..its not worth it, get metal hose clamps.

zip tie. because there easy to take off and the metal crunches the hose and could make a hole in the hose like mine did.

And Yes these are crap do not buy.

Exactly; I've used both the plastic and worm drive hose clamps without any problems. I just prefer zip-ties since they look better.

...Spray your zipties UV colours =)

I was thinking about the wormdrive clips - but they could easily cut the tubing if you tighten them too far

zipties.
Eww... don't spray your zipties UV colors. Just get them already dyed for UV!

http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l2/g35/...anagement.html

scroll about halfway down to get to the ties.

I'd hate to see paint cracking off in my case.
