BTW, 4850 is running 60c on idle, you definitely needs a better cooler and that is extra money there you have spend. You made the right choice by getting the Nvidia card. For 200+money for cooler, you can have bought a overclocked 9800GTX.
You're kidding--right? Two HD 4850's in Crossfire was able to go hand-in-hand with the nVidia GeForce 280.(Actual benchmarks) A little heat? W00t, I think the performance in such a small card is worth it. Right now, ATI is definitely winning customer's hearts with good performance at a great price, as someone who has mainly bought nVidia-based cards (In my laptops as well), I can say my new computer is going to have two-four 4850's or 4870's in crossfire. The price is just unbelievable.
