i basically made them same mistake as the guy that made this thread. i called newegg they said they can't cancel it. they told me if i ordered the new card and return the 8800gt when i get it, they wont charge me a restocking fee, she even made a note about it. So its all good now, although i spent $500 today

Nice but If I were you I wouldnt get less than 750w. Especially if you're going to go crossfire (620watts if fine for 2 cards but more than that you will needing around 750+watts).

Unfortunately it doesn't at my resolution 2560x1600 is very demanding and the 8800GTX's higher memory do help it out a lot. However, R700's 1GB of video memory will be a different story, especially since both GPUs share the same 1GB

This review from The Tech Report shows the 4850 beating the 8800GTX in every game benchmark, including those @ 2560x1600.
