Keep the GTX 280, it gives you bragging rights!
Get a 4870 instead.

i still would like the performance to actually beat all the 9800 gx2 ...Bragging rights dosnt improve the performance much

Changing to ATI would be difficult been always on XFX..unless you show me it performes better

keep the 280, the GX2 will win some benchmarks and perform a LITTLE better in some instances as of right now, but as for future games the 280 will OWN. you will benefit alot more with higher graphics settings and resolutions too. the higher i jack up my settings, the smoother this card seems to get. you will get a much better idea of what the 280 is capable of in this article: http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforc...0-review-test/

You mean the Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6?

You do know the board has a copper plate behind the cpu (on the back of the board) that prevents the use of any cpu cooler that does not use the default intel pushpin system? That includes the Zalman 9500 you currently have...

They call it their "crazycool" system.

I call it "stupid-design preventing cool"

Why did you go with GTX280 and a Xfire mb. Man get 2 4870. they will destroy the GTX280 in everything. A single 4870 is in average 10% slow and it cost mosre then half the price.
