[Newegg] HD 4850's Now Available on Newegg - Page 5

I'm probably going to get one of these if my 8800GT's sell. I need to get some cash back in my pocket, and my 8800GT's were bottlenecked by my processor anyway, so there's no point in wasting so much money.

Damm those cards are looking mighty tasty. I think I'm gonna sell one of my HD3870s, wait for the HD4870 and then pull the trigger on a new card. ATi really came through this time. Makes me glad I got a Crossfire board, I was soo close to getting a SLI one.

So... anyone wanna buy me a couple?
The specs looks almost around the same as a 8800GT. But this card cost even less. Which is good thing for ATI I guess.

It costs more than the 88GT but outperforms it.

With Asus and Powercolor you can get two rebates, where MSI only allows one.

You can also get a free 2GB Micro SD with two adapters.

And if you buy 2 Powercolor, you get $10 off on each. So the total is about $395 shipped for two awesome cards with two freebies, and you can look forward to getting $50 back.

It's getting harder to wait for the 4870.

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Its an OK card, nothing special.
Cons: Old tech. I would rather have a 8800GT from the other guys. Cheaper and same performance
Other Thoughts: Nice try, but no cigar. I am already selling it to get a GT. I had my hopes up for this series, but it looks like AMD loses again :/
