Just doing the washer mod my temps dropped 5 degrees C. If I lapped the heatsink and cpu it would probably drop another 5.

Will the X fuzion v1 mounting screws tighten down the TRUE enough to offer the same kind of performance increase as the washer mod?

The thing is that the TRUEs bracket bends when the screws are in fully - so there is not much pressure in the middle - hence the washer to put more pressure on the middle - so any screws i would think will not be perfect and i would use the washer anyhow

Im now using the AM2+ kit as im now and AMD - i dont use the washer as the brace is very rigid and dosent bend much as it is sitting on the base also - so there is much less flex (look a t a pic - that is hard to explain with words...)
